Lighter as a light source .... 200 1982

Hi Alex,

Having read this thread earlier today, I was browsing the flashlights on a visit to Target earlier this afternoon. I figured to put together just such a road kit for all these Volvos we have - some of them with, and more of them without basic stuff in the glovebox.

Did you know you can spend $53.95 on an LED flashlight to fit in your pocket? That even the most basic cat-battery (Eveready carbon-zinc) and incandescent units are most of $10 and don't look nearly as reliable as an 80's Volvo with harness rot?

Walked out empty handed (as far as portable lighting) shaking my head.
