Taillight replacements 200 1990

Well, maybe it's finally time to replace at least one and maybe both of my almost 20 year old taillights on my 244DL. State inspections in Mass. have just gotten much tougher and patches are no longer acceptable.

After doing my research here, I know the best thing to do is replace them with OEM taillights. Frankly, since this an almost 20 year old car the cost to replace those with OEM lights makes me a little nauseous - even at FCP Groton!

Since I just put on a new catalytic converter and the car also needs 2 new tires, I am looking for cheaper options that might actually work!!

Any suggestions? Has anyone tried the sedan taillights from Lampsandlenses.com?
