i'm still gonna preface my posts with 'i'm still pretty new to volvos'
sorry for the long post too, i just want to make sure i give you all the information i have.
the other day i was 'testing' the drain gutters from my sunroof and they seemed to work just great, the water just ran right out, no delay, nice high flow.
however, the next morning, we awoke to a nine inch icicle hanging by the rear passenger door column (the rearmost) i melted it and it amounted to less than 1/4 cup
now i've been keeping an eye on that area and i see an occasional drip (no rain today but drips)
tonight (just now) i pulled most of the headliner and looked around and there's a bunch of condensation on the bare metal up there all along the driver's side. starting just above the driver's sunvisor holes back the drip area.
i know that if the drain plugs, that it drips out of the 'gutter' onto your head/back/shoulder and i also know that these sun roofs leak, but they 'should' leak into the gutter and drain out. it also looks like the front part of the sun roof
so should i be looking for another leak or should i just replace the seal to keep all the water out so there's no condensation from the water sitting in the 'gutter'. isn't 1/4 cup kind of a lot for condensation ?
we did have snow here 2 weeks agonand i let the car sit under it for nearly a week, but i think that would evaporate by now.
