Master cylinder bleeding 200 1993

Thought I'd start a new thread since the old one is getting long.

I ordered a reman M.C. today, I pick it up tomorrow, and hopefully will install it tomorrow. Do I need to bench bleed the master cylinder if I am bleeding with a power bleeder?

I have read old posts. Some people say bench bleed. Some say bleed on the car. Some say don't worry about it, I pressure bled and got all the air out. Some people say you have to pump the brakes to get all the air out. Some say don't pump the brakes too far because that ruins a master cylinder (but does that apply to a new one?). And so on.

Bentley is pretty useless in this case. The instructions therein are basically, "Remove master cylinder. Installation is reverse of removal," with about three pages of repeated warnings about brake fluid eating paint and being poisonous.

Any tips?
