Idling Problem=Throttle Overun Valve Valve? 120-130

My own experience with 'experienced' SU's is that when the throttle shafts get a little worn, the valves can occasionally hang on the bore and stick the throttle slightly open. You can usually unhang them by giving the throttle a quick blip. Rebushing is the only thing that really fixes it.

You can check for worn throttle shaft/carb body by grabbing either side of the throttle shaft on the carb and gently wiggling it. Any noticeable slack at all is a problem.
