Volvo 960 Misfiring 900 1996

My Volvo all of the sudden started misfiring so i replaced the spark plugs and then no change. So then I tested the coils by pulling them off and they each seemed to be working. What is my next move??? Need to solve this problem fast. Please HelP ya'll are my last resort before taking it to the dreaded mechanic guy that I don't know from adam. This is really my first time to work on this car as I picked it a few months ago. This is the first trouble that I have had with it. I out in a new starter on her right after I got it and that was the hardest started that I have ever replaced and I have done a few my friends. Could it be Vacume hoses or what please help... Thanks..........
