How to loosen M46 drain plug? 200

I am trying to do a tranny flush on the '81 245 (w/ M46 tranny), but I can't get the drain plug loose. An 11mm wrench (w/ a pipe) doesn't give me enough leverage, and even if it did I am not certain that 11mm is the correct size. 10mm is too small, and I have had no luck with the U.S. sizes. A socket would be best, but trying to find a square female socket has not been easy-especially seeing as how I don't know the proper size. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Danke :)
