Intermittent electrical problem 200 1986

Oh, one more bit of information that might be useful....
All it takes is a jump start and the car will start up just fine after that.
I've jumped it.....shut it right off and it will start perfectly after that.
This tells me that the battery is not really depleted....something is putting a heavy drag on the system that makes it seem so.
I forgot the mention this in the original post and hopefully it will help someone figure this out.
