No Start: Turns over, no spark. Searched but still confused 200

Son's 87 245DL died at speed on the road yesterday, since then will not start. Here's what I know so far:

1. Battery voltage 12.5, engine turns over when cranked. Lights are fine.

2. No spark from coil to distributor.

3. Replaced coil with new one, which tested good. New coil has battery voltage across primary circuit, still no spark to distributor.

4. Pulled connector from ignition control unit. Tested blue wire on connector, it had battery voltage.

Haynes manual seems to run out of ideas at this point. What should we do next?

Thanks.
