Remove/replace head in cold weather? 700 1991

Have at it.

The temperature coefficient of expansion for aluminum is 0.0000128/F. A 1/4" hole is going to change by 0.00016" when the temperature changes 50F. Steel is about 1/2 of that. The net is 0.00008". A close fit 1/4" nut and bolt have about 0.001" difference in the pitch diameters (~10X the difference due to a 50F temperature change).

When it warms up above 10F and the wind isn't blowing, it is warm enough to work on your car. It is nicer if the sun is out. I will Wait until it 'warms up' again to install the new clutch.
