Intermittent electrical problem 200 1986

Hi fredbyte..
It wasn't just a fully charged battery. It was a brand new battery that he fully charged.
As stated earlier, he found a couple of very weak cells on my old battery so I told him to go ahead and replace it.
He feels confident that the old battery was the problem with the no crank condition. Of course only time will tell since this is a problem that only showed up every once in awhile.
The good news is that I now have a blower motor that no longer growls at me. I still can't get over the fact that he paid over $100.00 for the new blower motor....put in a new battery...literally spent two days doing the blower motor and checking out the electrical problem and only charged a little over $300.00.
To not have to tackle the blower motor job myself, it was money well spent in my opinion.
Thanks again for everyone that replied to this post. You've given me good ideas for when and if the next problem pops up.

Dave
