'95 945 Turbo Heater Blower on High Only..

Well, I thought it was the resistor...NOPE!, I R'n R'd it w/o any change in speed.

So I got a matching control unit on Ebay and replaced it today. (Definately thanks to the posts for how to disassemble the Radio-etc...to get to it!! Not a tuff job at all!!)

When I tried to remove the power line clips, the black one nearly crumbled in my fingers as it pulled out the back of the unit. The dial controls in back fell apart...all due to excessive heat, a lot of the plastic was melted and brittle!!! I'm lucky I didn't have a dashboard fire!!

I'd guess from constantly running on high and drawing the amps!! So I need to get a replacament clip and solder it in. (Yea I put the old on on and it works, I'd rather not leave it there too long!!)

All works well now though.
