Finished tranny conversion, now NO START 200

I'm really scratching my head on this one...

Swapped an 87 M47 into a 92 240 (AW70)
Getting the Clutch/Brake block in required some wires to be moved around.
All fuses are good.
I hear fuel pump priming.
I recalled in BB that someone mentioned the Inst. Cluster does NOT need to be connected to operate the vehicle. I installed it anyway.
Battery shows 11.65 volts.

The triangular Shifter Switch was cut off and the dual gray wires for the OD Switch was cut. The thicker white wire that ran thru the front of the Shifter Housing was cut...
Does the newer models HAVE to have any of the old shifter wires jumpered to fool the ECU into proper operation? I've seen some advertised ECU that state "Came from Manual Shift 240" - is this even a factor?

Up in the air
Tim
