Late model 245 antenna replacement Q's 200 1992

The car wash busted off my antenna at the stud in the base.

I think the general manager is going to make good on it because the attendant specifically told me it would be okay. I should have known better but it's ridiculously cold in MI today and I couldn't loosen the mast with my fingers.

Anyway,

1) Would you think the parts would still be available from the dealer for a quote?

2) Is there a connection back in the back, or is the wire continuous all the way to the radio?

Thanks in advance for any tips!
