Wagon rear hatch leaking 200 1985

The gasket around the rear door of the wagon appears to be good and pliable, but after a rainy day, I open the hatch and find water has accumulated inside the concave surface on the lower part of the door. Any smart ways to figure where the water is coming in or how to address the problem. If the rain is hard, the water ends up trickling into the compartment where the 3rd row seat folds into.

Thanks to all!!
