Basic Electricity

Howdy,

Several people on the board have mentioned that electricity is not their strong suite. I was bouncing around the web looking for something or other when I found this book:

Automobile Ignition, Starting, and Lighting. It was written in 1922. Of course engineering practices and advances in materials have rendered the majority of the book quaintly obsolete. But the physics of electricity are immutable. The basic principles written then are just as valid today.

I hope it helps someone to realize that he or she can investigate electrical "gremlins" with enough understanding to solve ninety-nine percent of troubles.

Mr. Shannon DeWolfe -- I've taken to using mister because my name misleads folks on the WWW. I am a 53 year old fat man. ;-)
