Never had to deal with this myself on a 90 series, but my guess is that this is probably inside the airbox somewhere. Just follow you're your air intake and check off the things you DO know. An air intake sensor should be before the Throttlebody.

best thing can do is disconnect it, clean the contacts, and see if that clears it up. if not, replace.
