Another Opinion on 1-1-3 Code 200

Bruce,

Thanks so much for the green book diagnosis!

So, define "both" of the fuel rail support bracket ground points. I'm guessing that means that the fuel rail is held in by 2 bolts to the IM, and they're both ground points for the injectors AND the ECU? I removed the fuel rail when cleaning the injectors, but I don't remember the configuration off the top of my head.

Also, these 2 injector ground points are different from the ground point on the valve cover that I cleaned, correct?

Last, assuming the fuel rail ground points are good, where would the next thing to check be as far as a ground - the engine block to battery cable? Or would bigger problems surface at that point if that cable were bad?

I will certainly clean as many connections as I can find, those jobs are free.
