Hi,

I read that for a B234 engine, the balance shaft belt is not critical, and can be removed with no ill effects, other than maybe some vibration at high rpm, is that true?
Anyone who has removed the balance shaft belt some time ago and their brick is still running fine after thousands of miles?
I'm thinking of doing the same, your feedback is much appreciated.
