960 coolant temp sensor replacement-where is it? S90-V90

Gauges in the panel are supported to the electronic board by screws. The screws are the contacts to the board. They get loose over time and the symptoms are jumping needles.
Strange about the fuel pump. Those things last forever
When you change the water pump change the pulleys and the tensioner. New timing belt of course.
New coolant thermostat and also check that the air thermostat in the air cleaner box is working and the the flap open to fresh air when engine is warm. If not fix the flap to fresh air only until you fix it. Or leave it open to fresh air only forever. Overheating the intake can make the power stages to fail.
