Bung Nut Tool and Removing Sender Unit Question

That's really not a fabrication, just a two-arm gear puller of the Craftsman persuasion, with its screw removed. Just happens to fit the notches in the bung plug.

That float won't pop out of there unless you force it. The patience is hard to muster while breathing fuel vapors, so even when it is cold I try to do this outdoors.
