Door Aperture Seals 140-160 1970

142 S...now sporting 240 door seals.

Does anyone know what the "door aperture" or windlace should look like?

I have ill fitting plastic U channel with metal grip fingers inside, and a faux cloth finish. It has no rubber seal attached (some I see have a round or oval seal bonded to them)and does not appear to contact the door...only cover the body welds.

I see someone on Ebay selling something for 1800's at 149.00 a door...it has a plush cloth sewn around it...

What are 140's supposed to have...and maybe it helps cut down wind noise???
