Fitting seat warmers? 120-130 1968

It is cold here - especially in a 40-year old car going to work at 5:30 AM.

I spent the weekend driving my 1995 945 to K.C. and back and rediscovered my love of volvo's heated seats.

I think there is a good repair write up in the 700/900 FAQ. Is there any reason I could not steal a set of these warming pads and install them in my Amazon's seats?

Assuming I don't want to go to the fun of fitting 242 seats into my beloved 68 and dumping those useless unwanted chrome recaros on the curb...

just kidding :)

Seriously, is this possible? Would such a thing be best to do with a full seat re-upholstery project or with a pair of good 242 seats?
