1975 164E Windshield Antenna questions 140-160 1975

So, on my '75 164E, I've got a manual antenna coming out of the rear fender. It was broken off when the car was transported. I checked the front windshield and it does have the wires running through it for the antenna, as referenced here - http://www.164club.org/model.html - "Radio antenna built into windshield."

Who knows why the manual antenna was installed in the rear fender - and, in a sense, who cares?
My question is, where will I find the connector/lead for the antenna built into the windshield? Do I have to pull apart the entire dash?
