Blower Motor won't blow - 75 164E 140-160 1975

I've been reading through the posts about blower motors here, and it looks like I may need to r&r mine. It was working when I picked up the car, but it was a little noisy. The other night, it stopped working and doesn't respond in any speed on the switch. Should I just go ahead and buy the parts (Siemens motor, switch and resistor = $79), or is it likely that something feel off and I should investigate under the dash before buying parts.

Anyone know of a walk-through with pictures? I've seen a 240 replacement, but I do think this system is somewhat different in the 164's.
