Upgrading a rear-end Q's 200

No, your best bet is to get the complete non-posi 92 rear end from a junk yard from a manual trans car. The entire assembly, NOT the gears and tone ring.

I'm driving a 92 245 LH 3.1 that I converted from an M47 to an AW-70... it still has a manual trans rear end ratio in it... good for gas mileage, but bad for power (the opposite problem you have)! If you are willing to drive to Winston-Salem North Carolina, I'm sure we can swap "rear ends... that sounds nasty" in a day.

The last time I saw 3K on the tach at steady speed in OD was at 90 MPH on I-40, fortunately, the officer had mercy on me!

Seriously, I have the tools and facilities to do the swap, so if you are willing to drive out here, it won't cost you a dime for parts or labor... just a straight out swap. Naturally, bring elbow grease, we'll both need it!
