Bolt in Alternator 120-130 1968

I have never seen an alternator that would bolt up directly to the three tapped holes that the generator bracket mounts to.

Some of the later b18's did have the ear on the block that allows you to bolt an alternator onto that block with out the adaptor that IPD sells. But I would say those b18's with the ear are less than 1 out of 10. You will have to look at the engine in your car to see what you have. You will also need a voltage regulator for an alternator (different from the one you had for your generator).

I have seen both Bosch and Delco alternators that will bolt up directly to the ear on the front of the late b18 and all b20's... I don't think that brand maters in the slightest in this situation.

Good luck.
