Hey RJ and RonK 120-130

Hi Guys,
Hope you both had a nice Christmas/Holiday celabration. I'm jumping back on the Brickboard-I've accumulated questions that I need answered by the experts!

Also to revisit and put to rest my last post--Looking back on the post I had about extra keys and living with them snapping off...I guess it did "read" like I was willing to live with that situation. Thinking about it more...I meant to say it was just a short time thing. Adding a switch of some type and not having to crank off the key will be the route I will take eventually. My thinking was to tackle safety issues first...like brakes! And then tackle the key breaking issue.

So...I've now got a 130 with new brakes all around, new calipers, new wheel cylinder, new shoes, new fluid, new flex hose, new hard lines. Stopping the car is now drama-free.

Moving on to bigger and probably more controversal issues......

A)10w40 or 20w50 in my B18. I want to stick with Castrol conventional as the brand. Doesn't get colder than 20F here in East Tenn and only for short periods.

B)oil and fuel additives. Useful, not useful? how about the occasional bottle of drygas/STP in the gas tank?

I've read the previous post on this subject and oil additive seemed to be frowned upon. I'm cool with not adding them. Just want some thoughts.

Thanks for your help, guys. Drinks on me this time.
Pat.
