Fender interchange between 700/900 900

I'm looking for a replacement right front fender for my '94 940. I believe that '90 thru '95 fenders from a 900 will fit. But I'm wondering if a fender from a 700 series will also fit? Anyone know for sure?

I would love to find a clean straight one in 'classic red' (paint code 601).
