Changing water pump and radiator...questions 200

I will bbe changing the water pump and radiator on my 92 245 automatic this weekend. I've done both before but it was a long time ago.

Some questions I have:

1. I heard I will need flare wrenches to remove the transmission coolant lines from the radiator - what size do I need?

2. In the past when I changed the pump, there was leakage where the pump interfaces with the block and I had to undo a lot of stuff - is it a good idea to pour water in the radiator first to see if there is a leak instead of puttin messy coolant right away?

3. Should I use undiluted Prestone or is there a special coolant necessary?

Any other tips are appreciated.

Sorry if some of these are stupid questions - I just want to make sure I'm prepared. Thanks in advanced.
