Looking for Opinions: Changing 4:30 rear axle ratio to 4:10 or 3:90 120-130

I have a 69 1800 B20 D cam 125 HP 4:30 Rear w/OD Could some one compare the 122 with the 4:10 gearing to an 1800 with 4:30 gearing. I don't know enough about 122's to know if they came with B20's. Is the 4:10 sluggish on the low end , do the shift points seem far apart. It would be very helpful if someone could relate their driving experiance comparing the 1800 4:30 and the 122 4:10 i'm rebuilding and up in the air about replacing the 4:30 with the 4:10. Thanks Rich B.
