Buying a 240 with high mileage 200 1993

Hello everyone! I am brand new to this board. I have been courting the idea of buying a 240 for sometime now. I went and test drove a 1993 240 today and fell in love with it. I am a little concerned about the mileage though. It has 248k miles on the odometer.

The owner has service records from his ownership as well as the previous owner dating all the way back to the beginning of the vehicle. It looks like the vehicle has been meticulously cared for. The rear main seal was replaced a few months ago. The timing belt has never been replaced though (to his knowledge). It has new brakes, new tires, and no rust. The owner is not a "volvo guy" so he did not know when I asked him about the flame trap.

He's asking $1800 OBO for it. All opinions and advice are much appreciated. I still have a lot to learn!

Thanks,
Jon
