How to recognize B2xxx engine with forged pistons&crankshaft? 900

Hi guys!
I'm preparing budget and knowledge for building not-extreme sleeper based on 700 or 900 chassis. I read lot of stuff, mostly on turbobricks.com and some other performance sites.
My biggest concern is, how to properly tell if engine has factory forged pistons and crankshaft? Information from internet vary a lot and often contradicts each other.. B200FT, B200ET, B234FT, B230FT? Some of them should be forged.
Any easy way to know for sure?
Or to make it simpler: which engine should be most adequate for achieving about 250HP without deep modification?

thanks!
