Does my '80 244 diesel not have an OD relay? 200

My bw55 to M46 conversion is well underway. I have everything pulled from the parts car and so far I have the clutch/brake assembly installed (went much smoother than I had imagined) and everything but the trans out of the recipient car.

I pulled the complete wiring harness out for the OD, and couldn't find a relay. I know that they changed switches around 80 or 81, so does my shifter just have a switch able to handle the 15 amp load? It is the flat in/out toggle switch and not the button.

Another question: Will a pilot bearing just go right in the auto crank? Is there anything I need to be ready for here? I will be getting a new one, not pulling the old one out of the parts car.
