bonk the shade tree, and youll get coconuts! 200 1983

OMG... Its really a fine thing when the precision of mechanical devices throw caution to the wind of a good old 'knock knock, anyone home?'.

Ode to the multi-usefulness of the lift arm for my 2ton jack, carefully placed first against the solinoid, then the starter. Each time a swift strike while holding the pipe about an inch from contact resulted in de-siezing the starter.

It started just fine; fresh as yesterday thank god. Something strange though... After the two solid taps I noticed something had been setting/and jostled into the valley between the starter solinoid assembly. My long reach allowed my to pluck its un-connectedness to reviel...wtf... A random loose cable connection (drawing below to depict as I have no camera at the moment).

Im leaning on the notion that this came off in the pressure wash yesterday. ... but what is it? Engine runs consistant without, yet... Im by no means going to really drive afar untill this loose end is settled.
~Thanks~
