Remove headliner 1800

Go slowly and be patient. The headliner is held inplace w/retaining clips around the outside edge. They are every 6 inches or so. Closer in the corners. Use a soft tool, like a putty knife covered w/duct tape. Carefully insert, it an inch 2, between the edge of the headliner and the roof. Gently slide it to the left or or right until you feel a stop. The stop is a retaining clip. Gently twist the handle of the tool to pry the clip loose. After you've removed all of the clips, the next trick is to remove the headliner/wooden frame from the car with out breaking it...it takes 2 people. Go slowly.
