Torque converter taken out. Any particular way it goes in. 900

I recently bught a transmission in a junk yard and the guys there took the converter out. I installed the conventer by just rotating and pushing in and got the transmission on the car now. Same post I had here before about hearing a knuck-knuck noise in the transmission. I have seen videos on how to install a converter and I did not see any specific way to push it in. Just turn and push untill... clunk it is in. Do you think the transmission is not a good one?.
