Problem solved 200 1984

Upon further investigation, last night I discovered what I have.

After scrubing off the grime, I now know that the remanufactured rack I bought 5 years ago is a ZF.

When this rack was redone the boot disks were removed and they used the Cam Gear boots that clamp directly to the rod.

So I ordered up the correct ZF rods which include lockwashers, and they're on the way. All is well.

Be aware of this one, what looks like a Cam Gear may be a ZF.
