Any one else running a remote oil filter/oil cooler/pre-oiler 200

The 83 245 I bought a few years ago has a Mecca (cantonracing.com) 6" remote oil filter and oil cooler. It also has a Accusump pre-oiler all hooked together on the passenger side. The oil cooler sits in front of my radiator but only covers a third of it.

Wondering if anyone else has invested in something like this before and for what benefits. I'm tempted at the moment to remove it all due to a leak in the lid to the oil filter canister and the hoses are leaking a bit and I'd replace those if kept. Replacement for canister is around $80 and hoses who knows, maybe $30. I was tempted this week to pull the whole system out but then the idea of having a little backup to when the coolant leaks and the engine attempts to over heat might be nice, or when in really hot temp to have an oiler cooler might be cool.

Will I be missing out not having an oiler cooler or would it not really provide any help in the case of a major coolant leak out in the hills.

Anyone want a pre-oiler/oil cooler? The set up was for racing I believe. The car also had racing rims on it before I switched back to steel.
