ignition keys 1800 1973

Hello All,
I'm a long time 544 project owner who just acquired a '73 1800ES. I literally saved this car from the crusher at the last minute. I did get a clear title to it and all-in-all it isn't in that bad a shape. My biggest dilemma at the moment is it didn't come with any keys. Is the door and ignition key one in the same or two different keys? I would much rather pull a door lock than the ignition to have one made. I know I will be calling upon everyone in the future for help on this project because I know little to nothing on the 1800's.
