Unless you feel a real need to, I wouldn't replace studs just as a matter of course.

You should measure the thickness of the exhaust and intake manifolds at the places where they share studs.
If there is more than about 0.030" difference you may have to use half-washers to space them.
I beat the problem on several late exhaust manifolds mated with oldtimer intakes by taking them
to a machine shop and getting the places that were too thick spotfaced to the thickness I wanted.
Any good machine shop should be able to do this. (NOT an automotive machine shop!)
