89 240 radio code 200

Hi there,

I think that all started in 92, but it is better you post the model of the radio. My 89s, both of them, came with CR-712 radios which do not have the theft protection.

To be safe, pull the 25A fuse under the hood to reset the computer instead of disconnecting the battery. Much easier. Just pull it out and put it right back in. The codes and any adapting will be cleared from the engine management computers but your radio presets will not be affected.
