Advice on Headers IPD vs Skandix anyone familiar with both? 120-130

Hello All,

So I’m back to working on the 122… I’m starting to repair some damages suffered form a hateful tow job, mainly the exhaust, which is broken from the bend in the down pipe and before the muffler.

I know I could sleeve it cheaper but why not go with a sporty set up?
I’ve got a bored out B20 in there with the OE manifold, and SU’s running through the stock B18 exhaust and I’d like to get more flow and pep…

I’ve been looking at the IPD and Skandix headers which to go with?
After looking around the interweb I’ve come across conflicting info?

Some say headers lose the low end torque, which would be a tragedy.
I had a 68 Ford Galaxie set up with headers and straight piped into a glasspack muffler, and it made such a difference… I know they’re totally different animals but I wonder if the results would be the same- Free flow, more hp?

One last bit- are the floor panels any for the 120 better than steel I could source locally?

Thanks a ton!
