fcpgroton - customer service strikes out again 200

"but they now label what brand things are."

Or, perhaps as in my experience, intentionally mislabel.

Like many others on this forum, I started buying from FCP because they used to sell quality European-made parts at a fair price. But, that was long ago and faraway. Now, while they remain an affable bunch of guys, they have trouble with disclosing the truth and they mostly sell the same Chinese junk that a lot of parts dealers offer up.

The last time I ordered from them, they were so patently unapologetic about the lie which they had proffered that I have chosen to never buy from them again. Perhaps "lie" might seem like a rather strong word, but what else can it be termed when a customer is told he will be sent a part made in Europe and a piece of Scan-tech dreck is sent to him with the ware-housing stickers strategically slapped over the "Made in China" labeling. Sadly, although I called their attention to this lack of veracity more than a year ago, their online catalogue still shows the part as sourced in Europe.

I excused FCP's bullshit enough times that I came to the conclusion that if I have to parse every statement they make and check every tomato in the peck every time I buy from them, why should I deal with them at all?
