Flickering headlights 900 1996

I have searched around and found a few issues basically like this but none like this:

My headlights have a slight flicker when at idle.
Alt. output is 14.2 battery new. I really only notice it when they are pointed at a wall. Infact my mechanic thinks i'm crazy. He's had it three times and cant seem to see a flicker but i do.
Any ideas what would cause this? Also no other lights, inside or out seem to flicker.just my headlights. high or low doesnt change.
