It's the problems that go away by themselves that I Hate 200 1989

Is it cold and how long is the drive to the gym. I have similar problems with parts cars on the farm: if I don't let them reach operating temp in winter the plugs foul and they're heard to start. Usually I swap the plugs into my driver, fight it until it warms up (bucking & missing), then I'm fine.

The other similar thing was when the main fuel pump was going on an 86. It would cut out, miss, run rough. Did this off and on for a few days. I got it home after a bad incident, found that the main pump fuse was hot and the main pump was hot to the touch. I replaced and the problem didn't repeat. I put the bad pump into a farm car and it froze up a couple of months later.

Could also be a lose wire - hot or ground - that reseated itself from the car twisting over bumps or warming up. I had a wire broken inside the insulation (where someone jabbed it w/ a test light) that caused rough running in another car. Finally it got so it would only do it if I stepped hard on the gas. Engine torque pulling the copper apart.
