wheel offset for 145 140-160

I quote:
40mm ET or offset.
145 wheels are 4.5" wide thru 1970 then 5" wide
Interesting factoid the wagon wheels are @2lbs heavier at 21LBS
1800 E & 164 E wheels are 15x5.5x40et
The only offset exception is the 75-164 wheel at 15x5.5x25mm
---------------
I've been out in the garage measuring wheels. The easiest thing I could measure was
front face of rim to mounting flange surface.
The 684001 5.5" wheel seems to be 1 5/8" while the 1221462 5.5" wheel is 2ΒΌ".
So I assume the 684001 is the earlier 164 wheel and the 1221462 is 1975 164 -- ?
On the basis of my experience with my 69 164 the deeper 1221462 wheels would be more likely to rub
on the rear fenders than earlier ones since they stick out further from the hub.
