Need Help Tonight!!!!!! 200 1992

OK, a couple of points. I am not sure now where I got K-jet B21FT, since I now see your car is a '92. Sorry. That LH 2.4 car definitely has the power stage on the fender well. In that assembly, there is an interface with conductive grease and the back side heat sink. One symptom of failure is running up to temp, then overheat and shut down due to that heat. Another thing, I have had the AMM "going bad", like Dan and others, and causing a stumble.
But, my diagnoses are not so technically sophisticated and based on schematics, rather based on experience and a ready supply of swap-able parts for rapid rule-out. I would have a spare AMM (cheap and easy to get), fuel relay and power stage in there for a road test. After that, I would swap the crank sensor (15 min.) and pull the in-tank pump to main pump fuel line to check delivery and finally pull the in-tank pump for a look (1 hr). Not fancy diagnostics, but good enough to keep me running all these years thanks to the internet Volvo education and salvage yard experiences.
