Steering wheel cocked a little to the right, tie rod ends not installed right? Sway bar bushings, rubber or poly? 200

I have a 1991 240 that I bought recently, and one of the problems is that the steering wheel is cocked a little to the right going straight down the road. I just put new tires on it and don't want to wear them out. However, the old tires showed no signs of being worn uneven. it drifts a little to the left if I let go of the wheel.

I had an 87 wagon, that I owned most of it's life. The steering wheel on it also was not straight across. I did replace some tie rod ends on that car, but counted the amount of turns taking it off, and put them back on with exactly the same amount of turns. Is this a ballpark way of replacing tie rod ends?


Also, the front end squeaks. I realize it is possibly CA bushings, but can also be the top strut mount/bearing, or sway bar bushings. Are the poly sway bar bushings a better way to go than rubber? I do not drive the car hard, but it appears to have a wimpy sway bar.
