Steering wheel cocked a little to the right, tie rod ends not installed right? Sway bar bushings, rubber or poly? 200

Since you got this car used. The tires are not going to tell you anything. How long ago were they changed before selling it to you? Ten minutes?

I never believe good tires on a car from a car lot. I even question previous owners.

Pulling to the left is not good. Considering the crown in the roads for drainage it should have a tendency to go right. Going left is into opposing traffic, not good. Strut alignment? At least the tow end is wrong.

I try to compare the front wheels to the back wheels for upright alignment with the wheels straight ahead.

I look for any lean/tilt (not much if any) top to bottom. Compare straightness side to side and if the car tracked straight front to rear to a stop.

I usually follow it in another car for completion of this test. Checking frame alignment.

Tow end and out, really shouldn't be seen. If you see it its probably wrong. If the tires are truly the tires, they'll tell more. Wear on the outside is most strut alignment. Car wanders toe problem. Wear on insides & pulling is one wheel way out, toe or strut tilt.

If I see one without the other I get skittish about the car.

It appears that some bad front end work may have been done by someone or neglected. This car may have been pieced together from others and left unfinished. If it wasn't pieced, it was drove hard, over hard terrain that helps explain squeaks.

Check fender ledges. Observe under car for gravel, road silt and dirt.

I don't understand the "CA" on the bushings. Poly is expensive. Rides more firm I understand. Rubber lasts a long time but if you wish for them to out last the car. Poly might be considered.

California is far from Sweden. So has been, this front end!

Hope you got it at a good price!

I just spotted the other post. The price was good if the paint and body was clean. You just got a well used car for that, "low" mileage"?? If they had kept it up you would not have gotten it. Apparently I was close on how it was driven/owned.

I personally would by anything from Florida sight unseen. It is a thing about their laws, that to me, promote cons and scams there.

Sorry Art! About the Florida comment nothing personal I hope to you.

Enjoy all that it brings you. It is a Volvo after all! Phil
